Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport (IATA: HAH) is named after prince Said in recognition of his services to the country whilst he was Prime Minister from 1970-1972. This airport is located north of the village of Hahaya. Travel to the main city of Moroni is just a few kilometres on the direct road the RN1. It is served by various regional airlines including; Ethiopian Airlines, Air Madagascar, Air Austral. Internationally Turkish Airlines fly into this airport seasonally.

The Comoros is an archipelago between Madagascar and Mozambique and previously was used as a trading post after the 15th Century. There are good restaurants in Moroni and a very popular one is the restaurant grill Le Coraya; here one can order wonderful seafood including lobster or have a collection of dishes from Africa, France and India. Eating out in Moroni is easy and there are other choices including the interesting street food that can be found in Volo Volo Market where one can enjoy the popular dishes including fried fish and bananas.
